Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

Our purpose at Woodhouse Hall is to provide the highest standards of support and accommodation as well as a supportive environment for nineteen adults with autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. We are situated in a small residential community called East Ardsley near to the large cities of Wakefield and Leeds.

Job Advert Role Description

The role of a support worker is to support individuals to develop skills linked to daily living, supporting with aspects of personal care, supporting individuals to access internal and external activities, learning opportunities and work placements. The role will involve supporting individuals to develop independence and promote choice and inclusion. As a support worker, there is an expectation to complete relevant paperwork and maintain accurate records.
