The North London Clinic provides a full care pathway from medium secure, low secure to a locked rehabilitation wing. The full multidisciplinary team works with men who have a diagnosis of mental disorder and associated challenging behaviour.

Job Advert Role Description

The role:

Role responsibilities:

  • Cleaning all kitchen utensils and equipment, plates and cutlery from the restaurant. Operate regular kitchen restaurant cleaning on a day-to-day basis. Keep restaurant tables / area tidy and act as a "runner" during service times.
  • Responsible for correct washing / cleaning and storage procedures for kitchen utensils, restaurant plates and cutlery.
  • Responsible for dish-washing machine in regards to cleaning and correct operation.
  • Maintain a professional approach at all times, conducting yourself in a smart, clean, hygienic and orderly manner.
  • Maintain flexible working hours at all times.
  • Maintain health and safety at work practices at all times.
  • Assist in basic food preparation.

Successful candidates will have experience in the following:

  • Previous experience of working in catering is desirable
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of cleaning and hygiene
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
