Job Advert Location Description

Stockton Hall is a highly specialist hospital where patients requiring a medium secure care setting can maximise value from therapeutic interventions. Our services have produced excellent recovery results for patients and they are able to progress to low secure or locked rehabilitation if possible.

The facility is split across seven wards as follows:

16 bedded female ward - Mental Health and Personality Disorder
16 bedded male ward - Personality Disorder
8 bedded elderly male ward - for those with a settled in presentation in need of rehabilitation for mental illness and/or personality disorders
Two 24 bedded male wards for mental health focus

Job Advert Role Description

Please note both full time and part time positions are available

 

Job Purpose:

  • To assist in providing the highest standard of cleanliness within the hospital.
  • To assist in the provision of a professional housekeeping service within the hospital

Main Duties:

  • To clean and maintain all allocated areas
  • To clean and maintain the fixtures, fittings and furnishings and report any defects arising
  • To ensure that all areas are adequately stocked with supplies and that the stock control system in place is adhered to
  • To assist team leaders when and where necessary
  • To ensure the correct chemicals are used a long with the correct dosage system
  • To ensure good practices of Health and safety including COSHH are carried out

 

Skills and experience:

Ability to work as part of a team and a mature outlook together with a flexible approach are essential.
