Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

Apple Mews has been developed to provide care for up to 30 adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex physical disabilities. It will provide nursing care and a range of programmes to support the development of independence and life skills. Residents will also have access to daily activities including arts, music, education, sensory and outdoor activities.

The homely and comfortable environment has been designed to enable person centred care and to assist people who cannot live in their own homes to maintain as much independence as possible.

Our approach to care:

Our service is run by an experienced manager, who is supported by a team of trained nurses and support workers. We believe in a multidisciplinary approach to care, which is why we work closely with other professionals including GP’s, medical professionals, SALT, Dieticians, Specialized regional roles, social workers, chiropodists, opticians and community psychiatric nurses.

We hold the philosophy that each person should take the lead in their care programme. We understand that each person has different needs, interests and hobbies, which is why personal input is so important.

Job Advert Role Description

RNLD, RMN & RGN's required for Learning Disability Units located in Armagh. Candidates must have or be expecting to have a valid NMC Pin.

There is a requirement for bank staff to work on site to Support the Service. Shifts are typically 12 hours 7am - 7pm or 7pm to 7am, nights and weekend shifts are available.
