Working in Site Support

At every Priory home and hospital across the country, there’s a terrific team making sure it’s a great place to be. There are housekeepers making up rooms, chefs whipping up delicious meals and cleaners keeping everything spick and span. Outside, our maintenance colleagues keep buildings and grounds in a good state of repair, while administrators ensure everything runs like clockwork. And thanks to our drivers, service users and colleagues have safe, suitable transport when they’re out and about. Together, these hard-working professionals create safe, clean and welcoming sites, where everyone can thrive. Join the team and you’ll be essential to Priory and the wellbeing of thousands of staff, patients, and residents.

The Priory difference

Whether you’re a chef, a housekeeper or a cleaner, your work will make a difference every day. You’ll play an essential role in helping vulnerable people, which brings enormous satisfaction. At the same time, you’ll be highly valued by the rest of the organisation, who’ll recognise and appreciate the pride you take in your work. And because we encourage a supportive, open culture, you’ll always feel part of a close, friendly team with a common goal. Finally, you’ll have outstanding opportunities to develop and build your expertise and skills. There’s the option to take professional qualifications – with financial support from us.

chef

Eleven years after joining us, Alison still loves her role. A Chef at our Ticehurst Hospital, she knows the part that good nutritious food plays in a patient’s recovery journey. Alison also appreciates the fully funded training, lovely staff and of course, the free lunches! Watch her story to find out what life as a chef is like at Priory.

What we’re looking for

Proven skills and experience are a good start in this team. But what’s really important is a sincere, caring approach towards our service users. We want people who believe that each person deserves the best, and who respect the dignity of others. We’ll expect you to listen, be kind and do everything in your power to help us hit the highest standards. And of course, it helps if you’re warm and friendly, with a good sense of humour too. If you can also bring honesty, dedication and an organised approach, you could be the perfect fit for Priory.
