Working in Nursing and Clinical
Delivering expert clinical care requires a brilliant team with a range of specialisms: Doctors, educational therapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, nurses, and many more professionals. We look for talented people at all levels, from trainees right up to consultants. Together, they form a highly skilled and supportive team that changes lives every day.
With facilities ranging from mental health and addiction units to homes for older people, we have roles in all kinds of areas, for all kinds of specialists. And all of them come with clinical variety and great professional development.
At Priory, development’s part of the package. So, if you join us in Healthcare, you could go on to become a nurse with our support and training. If you have the ambition to become a nurse and show potential, we’ll support you through a Nursing Apprenticeship and sponsor you through university. We also offer preceptor nursing roles, where you’ll complete a post-qualification framework over the course of 12 months.
Wherever you join us, you’ll enjoy a rewarding and fulfilling future through our Career Pathways.
The Priory difference
Making a difference to people’s lives is immensely rewarding – but that’s not the only reason to join us. No other provider offers such an extensive range of services, both to the NHS and as a private healthcare provider. They include care homes for people with complex conditions, and treatment for addictions, depression, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as psychiatric intensive care. And that means you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to deliver specialist treatment with an expert team.
Wherever your skills and interests lie, we’ll help you pursue your ambitions. With regular appraisals, exceptional training and the chance to work with experts, you can develop with our Career Pathways, progressing step by step.

What we’re looking for
We look for qualified healthcare professionals including mental health nurses, registered general nurses or registered nurses for people with learning disabilities. If you’re not yet at this level, you could join us in a more junior role such as a support worker or healthcare assistant.
While relevant qualifications are essential for more senior roles, what’s really important is a sincere, caring approach. We want people who believe that every resident and patient deserves the best, and who respect the dignity of others.
We’ll expect you to listen, be kind and do everything in your power to give the highest standard of care. And of course, it helps if you’re warm and friendly, with a good sense of humour too. If you can also bring honesty, dedication and an organised approach, you could be the perfect fit for Priory.
Priory is proud to recruit nurses internationally
