Occupational Therapy Week 2024
Occupational Therapy Week 2024 (4-8 November) is run by The Royal College of Occupational Therapists, and this year focuses its campaign on ‘The power of occupational therapy – transforming health and social care’. The campaign aims to create a better understanding of occupational therapy, its role in health and social care and how the occupational therapy workforce needs to be positioned in the future.
Our Occupational Therapy teams support residents and patients across Priory to overcome challenges, do what they want to do, and live their lives.
🎥 In this video we heard from Nicola, an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Priory Hospital Woodbourne in Birmingham. Nicola is now in her final year of her OT apprenticeship, and she shared more about her work and learning journey with us.
